Quorum's founders and directors, Peter Cowper and Peter Robertson, have established strong reputations throughout their careers for their ability to deliver substantial improvements in the performance of the businesses with which they have been involved. In an increasingly complex business and economic environment they see opportunities to achieve substantial gains in organisational performance.

Quorum's directors have extensive experience in a wide range of business activities including; strategic and operational planning, financial planning and analysis, contract negotiation, supplier and customer relationship management, and organisational design.

A key area of focus is the provision of independent and objective assessments of organisational effectiveness. The assessments highlight significant areas of opportunity for performance improvement and provide the basis for action plans structured to deliver the improvement opportunities. Quorum is able to assist clients to develop these plans in the form of roadmaps which identify key actions and milestones by reference to time, priority and interdependencies.

Quorum recognises that performance improvement requires levels of sustained effort which are only possible when an organisation's people have been effectively engaged in the process. Ownership of improvement initiatives and committed engagement in their delivery by key members of the organisation is critical. Quorum's role in this process is to facilitate the critical thinking required to identify the real barriers to performance improvement and, where requested, to provide periodic frank appraisal of progress in the implementation of improvement initiatives.

Quorum has the capability to assist with the implementation of certain key initiatives (refer “'Who Are We'”). Where assistance is required that is not within Quorum's capability, Quorum has strong relationships with a number of specialised providers and is able to facilitate introduction to these other consulting organisations as appropriate. This ensures a singular focus for our clients in the development and delivery of their needs.
